Old Dominion Hounds featured in March 2008 on HorseGirlTV.com. ODH was also featured in a February 2008 video at the HorseGirlTV web site. Both Masters are interviewed in the video and many of the subscribers are seen as well. You may download this video and watch it as often as you want using the latest RealPlayer media player (free) for your PC or MAC by going to HorseGirlTV.com, find and then clicking on the video. The RealPlayer will then prompt you to save the video and you will be able to download it to your PC automatically. This video looks to be one of several that the hunt will be featured in, in the near future. .

Thanks for Participating in the Joint Meet on January 12th at 11:00 and helping with the Fundraiser for the PowerLine Association (PLA)
Thanks to who
participated in the Joint meet with Casanova Hunt. Word spread quickly
among the local hunt community and we had participants from the Loudoun and Bull
Run Hunts. All totaled, we had over 110 horses and riders participate in
the Hunt and the Silent Auction afterwards. ODH subscriber and local news
writer Betsy Parker
published an article detailing the event. More pictures from the joint
meet can be found here, and we will have some video of the hunt courtesy of
horsegirltv.com soon (February 1st)!
An on line video interview with the Robert Banner (Chronicle of the Horse) describing how he considers foxhunting a key to improving horsemanship in other disciplines can be seen here!
The latest fixture cards have been posted
here for your convenience. It is also prudent to check the Hunt Monitor
to be sure that the venue has not changed.
New to ODH? Please click here for the map that shows the various venues.
Subscribers and Guests: You will need a valid Virginia Hunting License to participate in any foxhunt in the State of Virginia whether you are a state or out of state resident. Licenses may be purchased on-line ($18.00 for in-state) and printed out at your home or place of work. Please click here for more information!
PowerLine Action Alert!
Work is completed on a Commemorative Book/ DVD Project for the Masters of Foxhounds Association of America. The book is now published and our contribution includes over 20 pages of ODH history, many pictures from over the years and a 10 minute video.
We're still looking for information to add to a new book about Old Dominion Hounds. If you or any any one you know has information about the history of the Old Dominion Hounds, whether in word, story or picture, please bring this to the attention of the webmaster and we'll see if we can include it in our contribution to the book!
